Arendal Kulturhus is the town's main hall and cultural meeting point, and a number of events are organized during the year. At the cultural center you can experience concerts, theater performances, comedy shows and other cultural experiences via a rich programme.
The building has two halls dedicated to events, and has a café bar where you can enjoy good food and drink in connection with performances. Both halls are named after the lighthouses in Arendal, Store and Lille Torungen. In the large hall there is room for 696 people seated, the hall can also be rigged with a flat floor so that there is room for up to 1300 standing. The smaller hall has room for up to 164 people and also works well for events, courses and meeting activities.
